Exclusion of liability

1. Online offer contents

The author will accept no liability for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Any claims of liability against the author that are based on material or ideational damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided, or by the use of faulty or incomplete information, will therefore be excluded, as long as no deliberate intent or gross negligence on the part of the the author can be demonstrated.

All offers are subject to confirmation and are non-binding. The author explicitly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete parts of these pages or the entire range, or to cease publishing temporarily or permanently.

2. Referrals and links

When there is a direct or indirect referral to external websites ("hyperlinks"), for which the author is not responsible, the author shall not be liable unless he has knowledge of their content and it would be technically possible and reasonable for him to prevent their use in the case of illegal content.

The author hereby explicitly declares that at the time of setting the links no illegal content was detectable on the linked sites. The author has no influence of whatever kind on the current or future design, content or authorship of the linked sites. He therefore explicitly distances himself from all contents of all linked sites that have been changed since the links were set. This statement applies to all the links and referrals set within the author's own Internet site, as well as to postings or messages published in guest books, discussion forums, link indexes or mailing lists provided by the author and in all other forms of database with content to which written access is possible. In the event of illegal, incorrect or incomplete contents and in particular of damage arising from the use or non-use of such information presented, only the author of the page to which the referral was made shall be liable, and not the author who has merely linked to the published site in question.

3. Copyright and trademark rights

The author will make every effort to observe the copyright in all publications for the images, graphics, sound files, video sequences and text used, to use images, graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts produced by the author or to access license-free graphics, sound files, video sequences and texts.

All brands and trademarks named within the website, and if applicable those protected by third parties, are subject without restriction to the pertinent trademark rights and owner's rights of the registered owners concerned. No conclusion that trademarks are not protected by the rights of third parties should be drawn solely from the fact that they are named!

The copyright for published material created by the author himself remains solely with the author of the website. Duplication or use of such graphics, sound files, video sequences or texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the author's explicit consent.

4. Data protection

Wherever there is an option within our Internet site to enter personal or business data (email addresses, names, postal addresses), this data is divulged by the user on an explicitly voluntary basis. Use and payment for all the services offered is insofar as it is technically possible and reasonable permitted without the input of such data or respectively by entering anonymous data or a pseudonym. We do not permit contact data, such as postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail addresses published in the imprint or on comparable pages, to be used by third parties for the purpose of sending information that has not been explicitly requested. If this prohibition is breached, we explicitly reserve the right to take legal action against the senders of so-called spam mails.

5. Piwik

This website uses the open-source PIWIK analytic tool (www.piwik.org) to collect statistical information on the use of the website. This enables us to optimize the website for your use and make it more user-friendly. PIWIK stores collected data (including for example time, page called up, browser used, operating system) in a database. The evaluations created by PIWIK are completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify individual persons. In order to meet statutory requirements, IP addresses are made unrecognizable before being added to the database. There is no linking of the stored data with other data sources or passing on of the data to third parties.

6. Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG, German General Act on Equal Treatment)

In agreement with the terms of the AGG, we make every effort to prevent and/or remove discrimination on grounds of race, sex, religion or world view, disability, age or sexual identity and we implement the provisions of this act consistently.

If statements that are open to misunderstanding or discriminatory nonetheless appear in our publications, this is unintentional. If this should occur, please inform us in writing, so that we can check and if necessary remove these statements. All grammatical forms are to be considered gender-neutral. If only one grammatical form is used, this is to improve readability and avoid repetition.
